Certainly interested in this. The trailer seems a bit off, but Constantine himself hews a bit closer to the comics character than what they did with the movie. I've only read a few of the trades of the comics, and one of those was mostly due to being a big Ian Rankin fan. |

Never really got into Constantine, just happened to see him when he popped up in other things I read. Should be an interesting fall season. |

Looks like BB (big bully) was correct and it is cancelled. However HOW can they cancel this and keep pumping out Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and others (and I love Supernatural). If they renew The Librarians after cancelling this - I will riot. |

Re: Librarians... I think it may be oversaturation... there's a metric arse-tonne of adult-themed supernatural shows. Librarians is different because it's more along the lines of Hercules and Xena than Sleepy Hollow or Grimm. Family-friendly fun. Plus, it's TNT... they'll air just about anything.

Not that I dislike the Librarians it feels like another of those so bad it is good series, just saying. Constantine is probably darker than any other series hile still being hopeful. Bah ... it's cos he is English

Thats all that mattered to me almost...Supernatural was my favorite show for a while...Constantine is out now on TV, its Very true to the comics,(Hellblazer by Vertigo via DC) He even has his trademark biege jacket, hair, and accent as portrayed in Hellblazer. The movie with Keanu Reeves I actually really liked, but this show is good, and truer to the comic("Into the Light I command thee!") |
