I already have a guild that I've been with a few months now and seem a very nice group of people. However if any WoCer's still play GW2(in the EU) then I'd be very happy to play together sometime. I am on Piken Square the unofficial RP server. Any US player that fancy chatting in game are welcome too, though whilst we can friend each other and chat we sadly can't play together.

So I don’t know how many of the old Caenyr crew ever played the early days of UO/Ultima Online. UO was my first RP stint, delved in Richard Garriotts Ultima Lore & world building.
Its only been 20 years (Dear lord I was 14 when it started!) but Shroud of the Avatar, the spiritual successor to the Ultima Series is in very playable alpha with one of the best MMO communities (with a strong RP community) that I’ve seen in a long time. Better yet Tracy Hickman of Dragonlance is their lead story guy.
Its not an MMO, its described as an SMO (Selective Multiplayer Online), able to be played online, online with friends or single player. The game is one HUGE world, classless skills system, player housing which looked worked towards RP potential, very customisable emotes & character non-combat gear.
Looks like a beautiful place to migrate to for what little time I have for RP these days, but even little chunks of what was Caenyr or early days UO style open world RP gaming communities would be a lovely distraction from study/work.

My co-Admin sadly perished in a car accident. She was the driving force in my (internet) ear that made me push the project forward. Without her, I just lost interest in pursuing it.
As of October, the domain expired and I haven't bothered renewing it. The posts still exist on my host, I just don't have a reliable way to access them right now.

Actually, I did try to fire up LotRO once, and played it for a week I believe (they were then offering the free week amid the recurring plans) but my computer just couldn't do it; the framerates were like 12 fps or something horrid even with all the settings tweaked down. Try as I might, I just couldn't get into it, as such. Although one would think, that would be the "defacto" online RPG of choice for all of us old school PnP'ers and fantasy lovers, given our collective history...
Now if they could make it mobile... Then we'd be talking. I think my phone has more juice than my computer, to be honest.
