My god... I mean... really?

Personally, my wife and I have 150+ games. Seriously. We started cataloging our collection on and hit 150... and we're not done yet.

My favorites at the moment:
Eclipse
Power Grid (even though I don't own it... yet)
7 Wonders
Robo Rally (been a favorite for nearly 20 years now)
Fluxx

And others I can't think of.

What do y'all play?

My wife and I really like playing Catan and all the expansions with friends.

There is another one, with airships and England and France at war with eachother (big surprise), that looked really interesting, but I can't remember the name right now.

Yep, we have Catan. The wife loves it, but we don't get to play very often. My son just got to the age where he can play games with us, so we've broken out a lot of the 3+ player games. Settlers is just one of them, so it gets it's turn infrequently.

Also, Star Trek Catan is awesome.

We love catan. We got it as a gift from a brother and looked at it in astonishment.
Then we decided to play one day and fell in love.

Whenever we have a friend who is keen to get into board games we always suggest to begin with Catan.

Im still processing the essay you sent me zepp in response to my casual thoughts about a new boardgame excited to pick one maybe i need to start with Catan.

Anyone played the battlestar galactica game? I heard that was pretty awesome (cyclons, secret-dont-know-i-am-a-cylon-cylons)

Another vote for Catan as a gateway drug. My sister and her family were over here just before Christmas and we headed down south to Margaret River. Had some crap weather and Catan was a great way to kill a rainy afternoon.

I am the master of Scatagories... Only ever lost one game and we play it A LOT

I'm gonna have to check out this Catan game, since it seems highly recommended by everyone.
