I am assuming fantasy and sci-fi are the areas we will be enjoying so let's have some suggestions to vote from.

How about The Cell with Jennifer Lopez... kinda mixes horror and sci-fire and murder PS it's pretty dark and disturbing...

Dragonslayer. A classic that I bet a lot of people still haven't seen or haven't seen in a very long time.

Justice League: New Frontier. Cartoon but still a good movie.

Directors Cut of the Abyss. One of my favorites

MUSA(Korean film- not just martial arts)

or

Where God Left His Shoes(John Leguizamo) ONLY if you want something that could be a bit TOO real. Won Sundance film festival Humanitas prize, I think it was( this is neither scifi nor fantasy, I mean this is real)

For some pretty excellent portrayals of what most people consider fantasy lol...try The Bible-Epic TV miniseries) You can get this at any library I think, its 4 dvds worth...and of course they dont cover everything or have all accuracy lol, should be obvious if anyone tried to even watch Noah or now Exodus? But this one is impressive considering its 20th century fox produced

And it should go without saying all 3 Hobbit movies are already out...I havent seen Battle of Five Armies yet
