Very keen to see this. Never read a single frame of the comics but the trailer sold me and I have enjoyed Gunn's previous work (Slither is a personal fave)

Gotta tell ya that was the second most depressing beginning to a movie I've seen. Other than that it wasn't bad. Very actiony. Nice way to spend a couple of hours. A solid B+. And the end scene after the credits was not your usual tie-in to the next movie.

So here is the thing; I was back in Queensland because my Mum was unwell due to a perforated duodenum and was in ICU. So the idea was to go and see a light-hearted action movie to take our minds off things...yeah, that beginning.

My sister and I could only laugh afterwards but it was kind of unfortunate. Other than that we both loved it, really fun movie.
