I suppose I agree, her bad guys are just bad guys, but I actually like that
Her good characters are much better written I think, they are flawed and striving to be noble. The short stories are good, they provide some insight into situations - how Lucivar came to marry Marian etc. My daughter refuses to read Twilight's Dawn because it is the 'end' I cried but loved it.
Shadow Queen and Shalador's Lady are my two go to books - I get the urge and have to read them. Seeing Grey develop is a wonderful pick-me-up
I read Tir Alainn and enjoyed but didn't love it. The new series 'The Others' has great potential, I read the first book 4 or 5 times last year. But I think you might find the bad guys one dimensional again ...
